EPW Volunteer Requirements
Volunteer Requirements (Football & Cheer Coaches, Support Team Staff and Board Members)
1. Live Scan- Specific to Association (Head Coaches, Staff, Board Members)
Volunteers who take a break for a year must complete a new Live Scan. Otherwise Live Scan background check may be one-time if the volunteer remains active annually.
2. Mandated Reporter- (Head Coaches, Staff, Board Members)
Volunteers must complete the certification if you certify through mandatedreporterca.com the General Volunteers Certification will comply with AB506 (California Assembly Bill 506). https://mandatedreporterca.com/training/volunteers
General Volunteer is **$8.00, valid for 2 years.
3. USA Football- (Football Coaches, Team Staff and Select Board Members if they will be on field)

Completed Annually
4. First Aid/CPR- (Head Coaches and Select Board Members if they will be on field)
Head Coaches and one additional staff member per team must be certified in (more certified staff is encouraged).
Must be in person Red Cross or American Heart Association- Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

5. Code of Conduct Contract- (Head Coaches, Staff, Board Members)
Coaches, Team Support Staff and Board Members must sign a Code of Conduct Contract.
6. YCADA-Youth Cheer and Dance Alliance- (All Cheer Coaches)
YCADA Certification Obtained by Attending a mandatory West Coast Conference Coaching Clinic and/or On-line Courses
